How sign-in works

You’ll sign in with a Microsoft 365 work or school account from the tenant you want evaluated. The sign-in popup is Microsoft’s own — we never see your password.

• Use an account with admin rights to your tenant — typically Global Administrator or Security Reader. Member accounts may sign in but can’t grant the read permissions the scan needs to complete every domain.
• We request only read-only permissions at sign-in: your profile, email address, and tenant ID. The deeper read permissions needed to evaluate each domain are requested separately and require an admin to consent.
• Personal Microsoft accounts won’t work (Outlook.com, Hotmail, live.com). Microsoft 365 tenants are the scoping unit; personal accounts have no tenant to evaluate.

Your data & privacy

• Your scan output is encrypted at rest in our Azure storage, keyed to your tenant UUID.
• We don’t share scan data with third parties or use it for advertising.
• If you subscribe, your snapshot becomes the first datapoint in your trend history. If you don’t, the snapshot remains stored for our internal product feedback — you can request deletion at any time at hello@veritypointsecurity.com.

What your snapshot will show

• Your highest-impact finding, in full — the domain where your tenant scored the lowest, with the executive translation of what it means.
• The other seven domains, locked — each labeled with a severity tier (Critical Risk / Moderate Risk / Watch List / Within Tolerance). The scores themselves are blurred.
• Click any locked domain to subscribe — that opens the upgrade modal for the specific finding you want to unlock.
